For my Writing & Design Concepts class, I created a campaign for Tactics, a Pacific Northwest streetwear brand that recently opened its first physical store in Sapporo, Japan. The goal was to connect with streetwear enthusiasts, specifically women, by highlighting Tactics' unique blend of style, comfort, and performance.
I focused on Tactics' exclusive collaborations and the brand's promise that you don’t have to sacrifice style for functionality. The tagline “Your Ride. Your Way.” encapsulates this message perfectly. It speaks to the freedom of expression, empowerment, and individuality — core values for anyone in the streetwear community.
For the design, I drew inspiration from both Japanese manga and Western comics — two powerful cultural influences in the streetwear world. By mixing these with a soft, nature-inspired color palette of burnt orange, blush, and pastel blues, I created a visual identity that feels both bold and feminine.
This campaign is all about empowering women to embrace their individuality through Tactics — because style, comfort and performance can (and should) go hand in hand.
